For years now I have been advocated for the importance of development over delegation. Often when we delegate it is basically just shipping work on to someone else because we don’t want to do it - the intention is wrong and then the result is often wrong too. If we understand our role in any leadership capacity as it should then we should always look to help others fulfill their potential. If they fulfill their potential then so will you.
